The crowning moment saw Lisa Hanna of Jamaica passing on the illustrious crown to her worthy successor, Aishwarya Rai of India, amidst an atmosphere charged with excitement and anticipation. In December 2014, Aishwarya Rai's enduring legacy was further celebrated as she was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Beauty with a Purpose Award by the esteemed Miss World Organization.
